As I’m packing to leave Singapore this evening, I’m trying desperately to fit so many things in the mere four hours before I leave for the airport. On this trip, I set out to discover those hidden gems about Singapore that would convince my readers that this island nation is more than just a layover town on the way to more exotic locales in Southeast Asia. With 5 days on the ground, I didn’t have much time and it was only after day 3 or 4 that this seemingly sterile onion allow me to peel away at its layers. A sort of Western decompression chamber into Asia, it’s pretty easy to keep it surface here. But you know that’s never been my style. 😉

Singapore is definitely on my “must see” list when I finally make it over to Asia. I’ve heard so many great things about it.
You should absolutely visit! It’s a wonderful starting point onto Southeast Asia!
