From Winter Wonderland to Regents or Carnaby street to your local borough’s high street, the whole city explodes with magic.
“Get the London look.”
I don’t know how many tubes of Rimmel I’ve bought trying to emulate Kate’s or Gigi’s lashes.
Many hotels targeting Gen Z & millennial focus on very cool, hip common spaces with the idea of getting you out of your room to socialize, work and play. CitizenM London seamlessly does both. I found myself torn between luxuriating in my XL king size bed or watching the sun set over the Tower of London with a gin & tonic. Check out my stay in this video and see more photos on my previous post, Perfect Stay – citizenM Tower of London.
XL king-size bed that you just melt into. Views over-looking the Tower of London. Full service bar and eats 24 hrs a day (so hard to find in London!) and a stones throw away from hip East London? citizenM Tower of London has this west-London die-hard looking East in a whole new way.
Wishing you a very Happy start to your holiday season from London! xx, Nn
Every time someone asks me about moving to London, my gut reaction is “absolutely not, too gray.” But to tell you the truth, most of the time I’m in London, it’s been pretty beautiful and sunny.
I’ve been in London for a few days to catch up with people before fashion week and already I’ve done a 10k run, caught up with a friend I haven’t seen in almost 10 years and have been blessed with a London Indian Summer.
I’m channeling Londontown with a decidedly Brit hi-lo look of Burberry Brit and Topshop.
I remember the scene that hooked me on 90 Day Fiancé a few years ago. My mother kept insisting I watch the show. With my propensity for dating foreign men, she told me the concept over and over again but it wasn’t until I walked into her bedroom and overheard Luis chastising Molly about her brujeria and Molly screaming in bewilderment, was I hooked. Luis probably used Molly for a green card. I’d heard of “green card marriages,” even knew one or two and as a reality tv junkie whose business is in travel, I am even able to take Sharp Entertainment’s portrayal of the “dodgy foreigner” with a grain of salt. Upon hearing that my partner is Italian, many people ask if I’ve seen the show. Believe it or not, it the same thing that has many transfixed on the relationship between Meghan and Harry, curious about mine, Loren and Alexei, Tom and Rachel. Love is hard enough without factoring in oceans away, completely different cultures and lifestyles. So for seasons and spin offs, …
Happy New Year! This past month has been a whirlwind. After leaving Italy, I came back to NYC and enjoyed a few days at home before heading to the west coast of Mexico, Zihuatanejo, for 3 days, hoping on a flight back to NYC for an event and an early AM flight to Detroit with Glam4Good. After a relaxing holiday break with my family, I’m so excited to head into this new decade. I’m jumped headfirst into work and have a strong feeling that this year will be a year of major change personally and professionally. I have so much content to share with you and am often torn (and exhausted!) keeping up with social media that I neglect NAPW. But I have such a deep satisfaction from writing that I’ll never give up blogging. My resolution is to be more consistent with it! Not just the consistency from microblogging on social media. When thinking about the new year and the future, I went back to an interview I did with South African ANC freedom …
