When I laughed at how big her shearling coat was, I had a friend in middle school pass on sage words of advice from her mother, “Get a shearling coat that will still fit you when you’re up to 6 months pregnant.” Strange, yes. But this, my friends, is investment shopping at it’s best and it has taken me YEARS to find the perfect shearling. From high-street to high end, Topshop to Coach. For the past 15 years I’ve been on a mission to find my perfect shearling. And I finally did: a Prada double-breasted style that doesn’t swallow my tiny frame. Six months preggers?
