“Damn, I should have brought my tripod.” It was my first day touring around Lima, Peru and I was checking out the beautiful murals of the Barranco art district. Some of the walls were truly incredible and I wanted to get some shots in front of them. Eh, I rarely ask strangers, I’d rather just do it myself. But this time around ended up being different.

I have tried a pisco sour pre-Peru and absolutely loved it. I was excited to try it again in the home of pisco sours, Lima, Peru.
When in Medellín, the first thing people would say when I mentioned I’m going to Lima, Peru afterwards was, “You’re going to love the food there!” or “They have the best food in South America.”
So there you have it, what started out as a frantic phone call to my mom saying “I can’t stay here” turned into another awesome trip in one of my favorite cities and a little one-on-one time with a dear friend. As for the buffoons… they turned out all right at the end.
