Through rain and shine I saw beautiful people (and the SMILES) on the Parkway living it up. And I’m sitting here in my apartment writing this and getting distracted with hit after hit blasting in the street, Bob to Buju to Biggie… I love Brooklyn.
I’m filled with warmth for the kindness and good there is out there.
When I’m away on my travels my favorite parts of home that I miss… 90% of that is deeply rooted in Brooklyn — my family, my grandmother’s garden, biking to V’s in BedStuy, late nights at Crown Inn with Jenn. Check out The New Regulars for a glimpse of the place I call home.

Upon hearing about BedStuy concept store, Sincerely, Tommy and meeting the owner, Kai Avent-deLeon, I knew I wanted her ‘Nomad story on ’N A Perfect World…. Although New York, London, Milan and Paris are the international main attractions, trust me, it’s always fashion week somewhere. No one knows this better than Brooklyn based concept store owner Kai Avent DeLeon. You may have seen Kai gracing the pages of Lucky, W and countless other fashion glossies and trust us, this girl is on the rise. I love a concept store. No trip to Milan is complete without a few hours in 10 Corso Como and in Paris, I always have to hit up Colette. When I heard about Sincerely, Tommy in Bedstuy, BK, and about how Kai travels the world hand picking designers to carry in her store, I had to check it out.
