No one knows this better than Brooklyn based concept store owner Kai Avent DeLeon. You may have seen Kai gracing the pages of Lucky, W and countless other fashion glossies and trust us, this girl is on the rise. I love a concept store. No trip to Milan is complete without a few hours in 10 Corso Como and in Paris, I always have to hit up Colette. That’s Megan O’Neill; imagine the extent to which she blew my mind when I saw her in Amherst, Massachusetts. I couldn’t believe we had never met in New York. In a sea of popped collar polos and Patagonia fleeces, I had to know the girl in the leopard swing coat with perfectly undone hair. Recently made Beauty & Fitness editor at ELLE magazine and a veteran of Lucky, I can’t think of a better representative of the new wave of editors heralded by Eva Chen: Megan is incredibly stylish, funny and witty — oh, and an enviously tall stunner too! It was great getting to know Min in our short time together over lunches, dinners and cocktails discussing everything from wine tours to production in China. Based in London and from China, Min is a natural ‘Nomad fit so this week I’m going to mix things up with the ‘Nomads series.
While on my recent trip to Israel, I decided to change my flight and stay in Tel Aviv for a few extra days. During my time in Israel, I was treated to beautiful hotels throughout the country, but there was no place I adored as much as my friend Loren Stender’s stunning apartment that he shares with his sweetheart dog, Oscar. Loren and his girlfriend Meaghan’s attention to detail and eye for interiors is impeccable, with every corner of the apartment telling a story about their past travels, adventures and even family art. Much of the furniture that I loved was actually from Loren’s previous time living in Pakistan. I’m so thrilled to launch ’N’s Nomads with Loren! We had a great chat about his time in Pakistan.
