Whether in Dallas, the South of France the French house spares no expense invoking exactly the essence of why resort collections were created. This year’s exotic locale was non other than place of the mo’ Havana, Cuba. I definitely wish I had Chanel resort for my strut down the Paseo del Prado. The fashion: So French-Cuban. That beret is so Parisian, non? But so Cuban, remember the image of Che Guevara. Panama hats with Chanel camellias, the accessories are on point! Fedoras and cohíbas. There is even some revolutionary nods with a military green shorts set. The collection is so wearable and so easy. Chanel’s new It Girls? Speaking of French-Cuban, Ibeyi, musical group consisting of twin sisters Lisa-Kaindé and Naomi Díaz opened the show. You might have seen these beauties in Lemonade.
