Walking Through the Park: The Perfect Slipdress for Easing into Fall
Newsflash: I love a slip dress (duh!) and while working on a shoot, I pulled this awesome slip dress from my friend Charles’ label, HARBISON. From the FW15 collection, this black and red dress is viscose crepe and a wonderful fall alternative to all the slip dresses that are my closet staples during the spring and summer.

After Angela Merkel and Werner Faymann’s announcement on Saturday that they would open their borders to refugees, thousands streamed in. The most moving response was the citizens’. Sometimes, people are pretty awesome. This is my perfect world.

Amour Vert means ‘Green Love’ in French and I’ve given tons of summer love to the latest addition to my slip dress collection: a beautiful flowing silk sky blue piece by the brand. From the Hamptons shooting my friend Sophie’s Mercedes Instagram take over, to afternoon dates in BK to listening to the Buena Vista Social Club in Havana, this dress is the perfect go-to. I was so pleased to find out that Amour Vert is an eco-friendly clothing company as well. Did you know fashion pollutes more than any industry other than oil? It’s a dilemma I grapple with frequently in my clothing choices. While I would love my wardrobe to be from my loves at WAYITSHOULDBE and Organic by John Patrick, it can get a little pricey.
