From the self-deprecating smile as I butchered the French language at a restaurant in Geneva that led me speeding through the Swiss Alps on the back of a motorbike for “the best” fondue to the smile that let me and mom know that we could trust Julio as he led us through the back alleys and even into a rations market to see the real Havana that few tourists get to experience, it’s a smile that bridges these gaps.

Every day, I like to do at least one thing that I’ve never done before. I’m an adrenaline junky, so when that new experience coincides with something that can get my heart racing? Man, that’s awesome.
I’m no art critic but I really enjoyed this exhibition and thought the geometry of Agnes Martin’s pieces were a perfect complement to the rotunda space of the Frank Lloyd Wright building. As we progressed later in her work and more pastels were introduced with softer boundaries, there was a soft lightness to her work that instantly made me feel like cuddling in cashmere.
The desired aesthetic of the Gardens is to capture the essence of Singapore as the premier tropical Garden City.
I love telling stories visually through great style paired with perfect landscapes and backdrops not just to insight you to “ooh” and “ahh,” but entice you to book that flight and travel to the locales I feature on the blog.
